Leg Warmers

The past couple of weeks I've been working on leg warmers for my friend Rachel and also on a pair that I plan on selling on Etsy. Both patterns can be found on my new favorite website, http://www.crochetkitten.com.

The first pair that I finished about a week ago for Rachel are actually ankle warmers. For those, I simply followed the pattern. Because I messed on how to do an actual hdc stitch (please for give me--what I ended up doing was like something inbetween a sc and an hdc), I ended up having to add a couple of rows. I still think they came out cute:

The next pattern that I'm working on is the "Cassie Leg Warmers" found on this page on the crochet kitten: http://www.crochetkitten.com/patterns/bellydance.html . Here's what I have done so far:

Because I tend to make my stitches bigger than the average person, I cut the amount of stitches that the pattern started out with down to 64 rather than 72, and I'm hoping it makes for the perfect leg warmer size for me and hopefully some buyers on Etsy. I'll post the images of the finished product.
